2nd Annual CAMP VICTORY KIDS AND FAMILY WEEKEND A GREAT SUCCESS!
VIEW 2007 Kids & Family Photos The 2nd Annual Kids & Family Weekend was held July 27-29, 2007 at Crosswind Conference Center in Hesston, Kansas. This year, 67 participants enjoyed a fun-filled weekend which was held for all kids ages 3-17 who have been diagnosed with cancer, their siblings, and parents. While the kids enjoy archery, beach ball volleyball, swimming and shaving cream fight; their parents had the opportunity to relax, visit, and enjoy a massage, activities and speakers who provided helpful information to help their family through the cancer journey. This year's theme was "BEACH PARTY." A KANSAS BEACH PARTY A summer "Beach Party" is fun it would seem, yet for many it's been an impossible dream. So VV's designed a "Beach Party" for you…with swimming and games & yummy food, too! And though it's no ocean, the pool will delight, especially right after the shaving cream fight! Archery, crafts and a walk with your friends -- volleyball games cause excitement and then… There just to visit are dogs big and small -- each one is quite different, some furry and tall. Canine Friends are so nice & they like everyone -- some even do tricks bringing laughter & fun. So join us at Kids Camp, there's fun every day...bring parents, and brothers and sisters to play. A Kansas "Beach Party" is different it's true... We've oceans of love filled with surprises for you!
